Happy 1-year working with AEDC, Rich!

November marks another staff member celebrating a full year with AEDC! Last fall Rich Larish joined the team as our Assistant Facilities Manager. He has been involved with property management and maintenance for over 25 years and brings his knowledge and hard-working attitude to the organization.

What is your role at AEDC? How long have you been at AEDC?

I have been with AEDC as the Assistant Facilities Manager since the fall of 2022.

What is your favorite thing about your job?

I enjoy being part of this amazing team at AEDC. Creating, modifying and upgrading spaces for existing and new clients.

What made you want to work for AEDC?

I met Scott (Unger) years ago and later had the opportunity to tour the incubator site. I was immediately impressed with the concept of the program.

Tell us a little bit about your background, family life, interests, hobbies, etc.

I live on the south side of Allentown with my wife of almost five years, Vicki. I have two daughters, a son and a stepdaughter. My hobbies include attending Eagles games, motorcycles and horses.

How have you grown professionally while on our team?

I have been involved with redevelopment, property management and maintenance of residential + commercial properties for over 25 years. Here at AEDC, I have learned more about the integral operations of this organization which has afforded me to expand the skillset I had when I started here. I feel extremely fortunate to have been afforded the opportunity to be part of this team!
