Meet Ethan | AEDC SUMMER INTERN

Meet Ethan! Ethan Gasper joins us this summer as both our Marketing and Maintenance intern. This fall, he will be entering his senior year at Bloomsburg University studying Marketing.

Where do you go to school and what are you studying?

I am currently attending Bloomsburg University and I am studying to obtain my B.S.B.A. in Marketing. I plan to graduate in the Spring of 2024.

What is your role at AEDC?

My role at AEDC is two-sided. On one hand, I am working to renovate and maintain the Bridgeworks building, other tenants we have, and restoring the properties AEDC has in Allentown. I am also working as a marketing intern helping create marketing campaigns, gather data and insights into our customers, assist in creating social media content, and working towards the marketing plan for AEDC’s fiscal year.

What is your favorite thing about your internship?

My favorite thing about my internship is getting to work with the people at AEDC! Everyone here is very friendly, and it makes the day go by faster.

What made you want to intern with AEDC?

I had previously worked with AEDC the past summer and I came back because I believed they would give me the potential to gain experience in my desired career. I have learned so much from Lauren and I cannot thank AEDC enough for the opportunity they have given me.

Tell us a little bit about your background, family life, interests, hobbies, etc.

I was born and raised in Allentown, with my three other siblings. My current interests are hanging out with friends, biking, basketball, walking my dog, and fixing things up.

What do you hope to do after graduating college?

After I graduate, I plan to continue furthering my career in marketing and get into digital advertising and filmmaking, and I’d like to travel around the world.
